BAföG (Student Financial Assistance Programme) - Section 48 - Certificate of Academic Achievement

If you receive funding in accordance with the Federal Education and Training Assistance Act (Bundesausbildungsförderungsgesetz/BAföG) you must provide evidence to the Studentenwerk Schleswig-Holstein/ Amt für Ausbildungsförderung (Office for Educational Funding) after the 4th semester that shows that you are likely to complete the degree in the standard period of study.

To do this, your Examination Office will issue you a transcript of records that you must submit to the BAföG Officer for your subject together with Form 5 (certification in accordance with Section 48 BAföG).

The academic achievements for which you are required to submit evidence vary from subject to subject and from faculty to faculty. If there is anything you are not sure of, contact your Examination Office or your BAföG Officer directly.
