Notification of the examination results

Legal basis: Section 8 (1) of the Examination Procedure Regulations (PVO) (.pdf)

The examination results are issued in the scheduled publication period via the CAU portal. The publication period is listed in the timetable.

You are required to check your examination results via the CAU portal. If you have any queries or if you disagree with anything, please contact the relevant Examination Office without delay.

The examination results are considered 'issued' by the end of the examination results review period. From this time on, the objection period runs in accordance with Section 25 (1) of the Examination Procedure Regulations (PVO).

Opportunity to submit an objection

Legal basis: Section 25 of the Examination Procedure Regulations (PVO) (.pdf)

If you do not agree with an examination decision or grade, you have the opportunity to submit an objection within a month starting from one day after the end of the examination results review period. The relevant Examination Office will provide you with information on how and where to submit your objection.

You are advised, however, to contact your examiner to discuss your examination grades together before submitting an objection. Disagreements can often be resolved in this way.
